As part of the expansion program of our physical testing capabilities, Edwards’ Analytical is pleased to announce that it has purchased from Zwick Testing Machines Ltd a 3-Point flexure test kit and cutting dies for the analysis of the physical properties of plastic sheeting (to ISO 178 & 527-2) for its Z 2.5 Tensile Tester.

These new kits will allow us to examine for you the flexural stress, flexural strain, flexural modulus and statistical parameters of the plastic, and when combined with using the cutting dies for tensile strength will enable a fuller profile of the physical property of the plastic sheeting.

Extension to scope for Flexural Modulus is due to be submitted with UKAS in the next month.
